
Today: Milwaukee’s weather Wednesday will be influenced by the fact of being in between two different weather systems. A weakening low pressure system off to our south moving north and east will give Milwaukee a glancing pass and provide the area with a slight shower chance (30%) by early afternoon (around 3pm), but all activity should fade by late evening (9pm). Also, a weak high pressure system off to our west will usher in brighter skies Thursday. With Milwaukee as east as we are, the low pressure condition will take presidents giving the Milwaukee area mostly cloudy skies for most of the day on Wednesday. Temperatures being hindered by cloudy conditions and a breezy north winds high temperatures will only be able to top out in the mid 60’s with 10-15 mph sustained winds which could gust as high as 20 mph behind this low pressure system.
Overnight: With rain chances ending, winds will start to die down by late evening and into your overnight Wednesday with sustained speeds 5-10 mph, however gusts still could approach 20 mph still from the north. Temperatures will be able to cool into the upper 50’s with mostly cloudy skies still in control.
Tomorrow: Thursday will feature some nicer weather from high pressure taking hold. Winds could still be breezy in the morning around 5-10 mph gusting no more 15 mph and still out of the north. Temperatures will rise through the mid 60’s in the morning and top out near 70 degrees by mid afternoon with winds starting to ease and turn more to the northwest gusting between 5-10 mph. By the end of the day winds will turn once more to the west-southwest going into the overnight. Skies will be mainly clear overnight with winds will turn once more to the west-southwest and calming. Low temperatures will bottom out in the mid to high 50’s and hold steady overnight.
Extended: A sunny weekend is ahead for the Milwaukee area. Temperatures Friday through Sunday will hold pretty steady with highs warming up into the high 70’s. and lows settling in the low 60’s to high 50’s with mostly clear skies .Winds will be on a roller roaster ride throughout the weekend starting Friday winds will start out from the southwest gusting 5-10 mph and turn to the northwest as the day goes on remaining calm. Saturday winds will turn again to the southwest remaining calm. Lastly, a cold front connected to a low pressure system station up in Canada will slide through the state Saturday night into Sunday which will cool temperatures slightly and turn the winds back to the northwest still remaining calm.
