MKZine: Vol. 1, Issue 2 – October 2026
The UWM Post is back with the second issue of its new physical publication, “MKZine,” which is titled “Student Voter Guide.” It is being released on Oct. 28 in conjunction with a Get Out the Vote event that the UWM Post co-organized with Planned Parenthood Generation Action.
“Get Out the Vote: Student Voters Resource Fair” is a non-partisan conversation with topics including general voter awareness, issues impacting college students and the importance of voting. The conversation is moderated/hosted by student journalists from the UWM Post.
This issue of “MKZine” features a breakdown of amendments up for vote on the ballot, political op-eds, university guidelines for political activity on campus and basic UWM student voter information.

The publication is a nonprofit student organization of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. There is an active GoFundMe to help raise money for future editions of “MKZine.”
