Longtime MLB Home run King and Milwaukee Baseball great Henry “Hank” Aaron died this past Friday.
Aaron played over 20 years in the MLB and helped bridge the racial gap that professional sports encountered.
On April 8, 1974, Aaron hit his 715th Home run of his career, passing Hall of Famer Babe Ruth and putting him at the top of the leaderboards.
The 21 time All-Star also holds the MLB record for Runs Batted In. Aaron was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1982.
The Milwaukee Brewers released a statement from owner Mark Attanasio on the passing of Aaron.
