Frontier Airlines is offering new nonstop flights from Mitchell Airport for a limited time.
So, wanna get away? Now is the time to get your cheap flights booked through Frontier.
The Airline just announced that, for a limited time from March 6 to April 13, 2026, you can fly nonstop to Phoenix, Arizonia and Las Vegas, Nevada, for as low as $69 one way.
This is adding two more flights to the other nonstop flights that Frontier offers out of Milwaukee.

“We’re thrilled to offer Milwaukee-area consumers to grow with new nonstop service to Las Vegas and Phoenix,” said Josh Flyer, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier.
Frontier offers nonstop flights to Denver (Frontier’s home hub), Atlanta, Tampa and Orlando, so it’s adding Phoenix and Vegas as short but temporary flights for spring break travels.
But what is there to do in Phoenix and Vegas?
Phoenix:

For those die-hard Brewer fans, spring training games are happening from Feb. 21 to March 21 in 2026. The airport, Sky Harbor International, is only 12 miles from the stadium where they play.
Not into baseball? Phoenix still offers MANY things to do during March and April. Along with events, they also have many things to see and enjoy.
A few of my favs are:
- Boyce Thompson Arboretum.
- Lowell Observatory is great for Astronomy and Photography lovers.
- The hot air balloons.
- Local farmer markets.

Las Vegas:
¡Viva Las Vegas!
Now, besides the typical things you can do in Vegas, there are, again, MANY options of things to do besides the strip and gambling.
Did you know Vegas is four hours away from the Grand Canyon? There are tour buses that take you out there for a reasonable price. On some of these tours, you can also see the Hoover Dam along the way.
There are plenty of shopping opportunities, museums, family-friendly attractions and free things to do in Vegas.

Caution with Frontier:
One factor to keep in mind when booking with Frontier Airlines is that, although the flights are cheap, they are only if you fly nonstop.
If you use the airlines to fly from, let’s say, Milwaukee to Seattle, you are paying for that flight.
Another thing you might be paying for? Everything!
Want to bring a bag? There is a fee for carry-on and checked bags. The price for said bag increases if you pay at the airport, so I recommend paying online.
Want a certain seat? You are paying for that too, especially if you want extra leg room.
Another charge is if you want to use a person to check in for said flight instead of the kiosk.
I recommend that if you fly with a bag, either checked or carry-on, it’s better to book with a different airline.
As a person who has flown Frontier, my main airline for going to Denver (a nonstop flight), I pack a bookbag that will fit under my seat and hope for the best.
However, they are a great airline to fly with. The staff on and off the ground is ALWAYS happy to help you have the best trip experience possible.
So, for this Spring Break, are you going to give Frontier a try?
