Sunday: Above normal temperatures will continue inland, with highs in the low to mid-60s, while areas near Lake Michigan stay cooler. Scattered light rain showers are possible in the morning, though dry air may limit much of this to sprinkles. Another round of showers and a few isolated thunderstorms could develop midday through the evening, mainly along and north of I-94. Breezy south winds will pick up through the day.
Sunday Night: Low pressure will lift into the Upper Peninsula, dragging a strong cold front across the region before dawn. Scattered showers and possibly a few storms may linger ahead of the front, though overall activity will be limited by dry mid-level air. Behind the front, winds will turn westerly and increase in strength, with gusts beginning to pick up late.
Monday: Cooler air will gradually move in behind the front, with temperatures likely steady or falling through the afternoon. West to northwest winds will become quite brisk, with gusts in the 25–35 mph range. Scattered rain showers may redevelop during the afternoon, especially as another disturbance moves through.
Tuesday- Thursday: Cool and breezy conditions will persist into Tuesday, with scattered rain showers and the possibility of a few snowflakes mixing in. Winds will remain gusty from the northwest. By Wednesday, high pressure will bring quieter weather, though it will stay cool. Rain chances return later Thursday as another low pressure system approaches from the west.
