Today, April 15th: Pleasant weather will persist today, with sunny to mostly sunny skies to start off the day. High temperatures will climb into the upper 40s, while a lake breeze develops causing cooler conditions on the lakeside areas.

Tonight: Some clouds return this evening as the next low-pressure system starts to move into the region. Winds will pick up overnight, with gusts ranging between 15-20 mph. Temperatures will drop into the mid-30s for overnight lows. 

Tomorrow, April 16th: Thursday starts off mostly sunny, breezy and cool, but temperatures will rise throughout the afternoon as a warm front moves into the area. Temperatures will reach a high in the 50s. Clouds will build along the front, bringing a chance for showers after 1 p.m. Cloudy skies stick around into the evening, with a chance for a few weak, isolated thunderstorms. Overnight lows will hold steady in the upper 40s. 

Extended Forecast, Friday-Sunday:

Friday: 
Showers linger into Friday morning with breezy conditions—wind gusts between 15–20 mph. Temperatures rise into the upper 60s ahead of an approaching cold front. As the front moves through in the late afternoon, showers and storms may begin to develop. There may be enough ingredients for some of those storms to turn severe. The Storm Prediction Center has assessed a 15% chance of severe thunderstorms for the Milwaukee area on Friday. By the evening though, showers will begin to taper off, with skies clearing overnight. Winds calm down, and lows will drop into the low 40s.

Saturday: 
The day starts partly sunny, but cloud cover will increase through the afternoon and evening. High temperatures will reach the low 50s, with overnight lows falling into the upper 30s. 

Sunday: 
Another system begins to move into the region. We’ll see partly cloudy skies with a 20% chance of rain showers during the day and a 50% chance for thunderstorms by the evening. Daytime highs will be in the low 50s, with nighttime lows in the low 40s.
