
Today, April 21: Some lingering showers will taper off by mid-morning. Winds will be gusty as the cold front moves through, with sustained winds from the southwest between 15-20 mph and gusts up to 35 mph. Clouds stick around for most of the day, with a slight possibility of a little clearing in the afternoon. Temperatures will be in the low 50s throughout the morning and will fall into the mid-40s as the afternoon progresses.
Tonight: Winds will die down as the night progresses. Clouds will taper off, giving way to some clear skies early Tuesday morning. Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s, but could fall a little more as the sky clears out.
Tuesday, April 22: Happy Earth Day! Sunshine will dominate during the morning and early afternoon. Temperatures will make it into the low 50s by the lake, but could warm into the upper 60s away from the lake. Winds will be out of the southeast or east for most of the day, which will contribute to the cooler temperatures by the lake. Clouds return during the mid-afternoon as another system moves in, eventually leading to the possibility of rain overnight. Temperatures will fall into the low 40s overnight.

Extended Forecast, Wednesday, April 23 – Friday, April 25: Wednesday looks to be warm and mostly dry as the system from Tuesday makes its way out. Rain is possible all day, but it won’t be an all-day washout. Rather, some spotty showers will persist throughout the day, mixed with some periods of sun. Temperatures will warm into the mid-to-upper 50s near the lake during the day and will fall into the mid-40s overnight. Thursday brings another chance for some more substantial rain as another system moves in. Temperatures will reach the upper 50s. Friday morning looks to be rainy, but it should give way to some sunshine in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 60s.
