Today: A high pressure system will keep conditions clear and sunny, while southwest winds bring warmer summer-like air into the region. Morning temperatures will begin in the low 50s climbing into the 70s by noon. As the warmer air is ushered in, breezier winds will follow as a high of 78 degrees is expected for the day. Clouds develop into the afternoon, covering skies into the evening.

Tonight: Clouds start to clear as the night progresses, and temperatures stay fairly mild in the mid 60s into the overnight. Breezier winds will continue, with gusts just under 20mph.

Storm Prediction Center Severe Weather Risk – valid Tuesday

Tomorrow: The Storm Prediction Center has issued a marginal risk for severe weather in Milwaukee, while a slight risk is issued for areas further west. The morning starts off noticeably humid as our next system moves in, with mild temperatures in the mid 60s. The timing of the risk looks fairly confident to fall in the late afternoon, though some models are showing rain to enter by early afternoon. The severe probabilities remain low, although a strong storm is likely to impact the area. The developed storms are associated with a cold front, where temperatures will cool with lows falling just short of 60 to end the night.

Extended: Storms will continue throughout the early hours of Wednesday, but by afternoon existing showers look to clear. Highs look to reach 67, while lows fall to 58. The rest of the week looks to consist of periodic showers and maybe a brief thunderstorm. Minor upper air disturbances look to affect our area throughout the week as unseasonably chilly temperatures persist. Thursday will be warmer with a high of 77 and cool off to 54 and mostly cloudy skies with showers likely. On Friday rain chances look to die off, as sunny skies are expected with a high of 66 degrees and lows falling to 56.
