Today: As the early birds wake up today, humidity lingers more toward the lake as possible raindrops from during the early morning dry off the pavement, causing a slight chance of fog. This will dissipate along with most of the clouds as the city awakens to a cool lake breeze of 5 mph, especially over the lake causing a nice 70 degrees lakeside, but 78 inland. There is a 40% of rain before noon, but it is expected to pass without ruining plans for the late morning. Beginning around 3 PM as we peak out around 92 inland and 80 lakeside, the chance for precipitation increases. Gusts of wind up to 30 mph race past our calm 7 mph breeze as possible pop-up downpours and the odd thunderclap pass through Milwaukee until the setting of the sun.

Tonight: A storm system will make its way through during the night, with a chance of thunderstorms before midnight, and downpours expected by 1 AM. Hail is possible for a select few spots, but it is otherwise unlikely for any of these storms. Winds remain around 5 mph with occasional gusts up to 11 mph. Storms take a break by 5 AM in the morning of Monday as we reach our low of 68 degrees.

Tomorrow: The break from storms does not last long, as with the rising of the sun, storms begin to pop up again, making the Monday morning commute a bit wet.  By late morning, the thunder resumes as another potent system makes its way into Milwaukee. Winds are expected to be averaging around 10 mph for the day with gust up to 20 mph within the storms. Due to cloud cover and storms, temperatures stay within the low 80s and not much less toward the lake. The rain, thunder, and possible hail continue throughout the day but leave in time for a beautiful sunset and allow for a clear night sky for the most part. With the passing of the cold front, wind will pick up, harboring gusts of 26 mph, with sustained winds at 12 mph going into the night, creating a chilly 66 degree low for Monday night.

Tuesday 7/1: Tuesday begins with a beautiful sunrise. Mostly clear skies and a warm breeze produce the perfect day for the beach as temperatures warm to the upper 70s and low 80s inland while the wind continues around 8 mph with gusts flirting with 20 mph. A few clouds enter as the sun sets, signaling the end of the great summer day.

Wednesday & Thursday 7/2-3: Wednesday and Thursday begin just like Tuesday, with comparable highs, wind a bit less intense, and but the possibility of precipitation increases throughout each day as small weather systems can mess with each day, so stay updated as always!
