Today: The morning begins gloomy as southeastern winds push a low pressure system over Milwaukee. This will bring overcast skies for most of the morning, although the occasional spot of sunshine will be more common as the afternoon nears. Temperatures will remain in the upper 60s and peak out at 70 for the day sometime before noon. Although cloud coverage will lessen as the afternoon rolls in, scattered showers and a slight drop in temperature are to be expected throughout midday. Showers will be light, however, and only a half-inch of precipitation should be expected. Beware the afternoon thunderstorms provide the potential for extreme wind gusts, ranging from 37mph to 48mph in extreme cases. Otherwise, the day will be windy but not unusually so.

Tonight: The scattered showers from the afternoon will persist until nightfall, eventually dissipating as the sun sets. The rain will help the temperature cool to a nighttime low of 53. Additionally, cloud cover will clear in the late hours of the night.

Tomorrow: As a high-pressure system moves in, Milwaukee faces a beautiful summer day. The temperature will warm up to a balmy 73 degrees, with the daily average hanging around in the low 70s. The potential for an isolated rain shower in the afternoon is not an impossibility, but the majority of the area will remain dry. Despite this, do not expect any major weather events this day. Finally the nighttime low will drop to 55, wrapping up the day.

Wednesday – Friday: The trend of beautiful weather will continue through Wednesday, providing sunny skies and ideal temperatures up to 81 degrees. As Thursday draws near, so does another low-pressure system causing an increase in chances for rain. Again, do not expect any severe weather despite these rain chances. Temperatures for Thursday will cap out at 70 degrees, with a low of 62. Friday will be bringing more of the same, with a decent chance for rain. The high will be 64 with a low of 55.
