Today: Today we see the remnants of the rain moving out of the area and high pressure moving in, so expect clearing skies throughout the day. Winds are looking to be calm and out of the north so we’re not expecting a lake breeze to progress inland. Temperatures are looking to be cool in the morning, starting in the upper 40s, warming into the mid 60s by midday.

Tonight: Temperatures will cool with the sun dipping below the horizon and mostly clear skies. Expect temps to drop into the 40s.

Tomorrow: High pressure will continue to dominate the weather as it passes overhead. This will bring calm winds and clear skies. Temps will start off in the 40s early in the morning, quickly warming into the mid 60s along the lake, lower 70s further inland.

Extended Forecast

Monday, 6/02: High pressure starts to move out of the area, but much warmer air arrives from the south. Expect daytime temps to reach the mid 80s after beginning in the lower 50s in the morning. Winds will be light and mostly clear skies should continue.

Tuesday, 6/03: Windy and rainy conditions are expected. A low-pressure system over the plains will make its way into the region bringing 20-25 mph winds and scattered rain showers in the afternoon into overnight. Temps are still looking to be warm, 60s in the morning, 80s in the afternoon. As the storms move in, expect temps to drop into the 60s. These storms are looking to be sub-severe giving us much needed rain after a period of extended warmth.

Wednesday, 6/04: Rain will linger through the morning as the system passes through, with overcast conditions expected the rest of the day. Temps will be much more mild being in the 50s most of the day. Winds coming off the lake with the passing of the system will keep the lakeshore and downwind areas much cooler.
