Today: We’ll continue the warming trend today as high pressure takes hold of our weather for the rest of the week. Sunny, clear skies greet us this morning while gusty west-northwest winds set the tone for the day. Temperatures look to reach near 50 degrees as strong winds persist, gusting around 30-35 mph. Clouds may filter in at some points through the day, but should taper off allowing for much of our day to consist of sunny skies.
Tonight: As the sun sets around 4:30 p.m. this evening, winds will finally begin to ease for our overnight as gusts simmer around 15-20 mph. Skies stay clear while temperatures fall to 37 degrees for a low.

Tomorrow: The warm and sunny trend will to continue for Thursday, thanks to the dominating high-pressure system. Winds are no longer a concern tomorrow with gusts reaching as high as 15 mph at times. Temperatures are expected to warm above 50 degrees for Milwaukee, reaching a high around 52. We may see a few clouds trickle in at times throughout the day, but sunshine will be the main character for the daytime hours. A bit more cloud cover may develop for our evening and overnight, though most of the sky should remain clear. A low of 38 degrees is expected.
Extended: Above average temperatures are on tap to begin our weekend, with highs reaching the mid 50s on Friday, and Saturday potentially hitting 60 degrees. Friday will feature clearer skies until clouds filter in for the evening, creating a mostly cloudy night. Temperatures will fall to the lower 40s on Friday ahead of our next chance of rain. We’ll see a spike in temperatures on Saturday, and a change in cloud cover with mostly cloudy skies. The aforementioned high pressure looks to cater in warmer temperatures, while a competing low-pressure system attempts to cause some disruption for our evening hours Saturday. Models disagree on chances of precipitation, but it’s a 20% chance remains for lakeside areas to see some showers. On Sunday, we’ll see a drop in temperatures as a high of 49 is expected. Lows will fall to the mid 30s.
