
Today: A high pressure system makes its way into southern Wisconsin during Wednesday, clearing the skies after a cloudy morning. Warmer temperatures are expected, with a high in the low 50s, peaking around 3 p.m. and then quickly dropping into mid 40s as night falls. Winds will be swift out of the west, with an average wind speed above 10 mph and gusts occasionally reaching 30 mph, with even stronger speeds expected on the lake.
Tonight: A light frost is expected in the late evening hours, especially inland, as temperatures fall into the low 30s overnight with clear skies. Winds start to ebb after midnight, falling to just over 5 mph with minor gusts reaching 15 mph at their strongest.

Tomorrow: Clouds move into the area early Thursday, and stick around for the majority of the day, coupled with subdued temperatures in the mid 40s which stay that way throughout the day and into the night. Winds pick up slightly, with an average speed around 10 mph with gusts topping out at 20 mph. Some precipitation is expected after 11 p.m., with the heaviest period of rain happening around 3 a.m.
Friday, November 7th – Sunday, November 9th: Some minor showers could occur in the early morning hours of Friday, before turning to partly sunny skies with a daily high temperature in the upper 50s. Temperatures fall overnight and stay that way into Saturday, which has a daily high in the low 40s and partly cloudy skies. Snow and/or sleet is possible during Saturday evening and night, but total accumulation should be under an inch during the night. Sunday stays even colder than Saturday, with inland temperatures hitting the high 20s and lake shore temperatures topping out in the low 30s.
