
Today: A cloudy and cold day is in store for Black Friday, with temperatures hovering in the mid 20s during the day and overcast skies predicted after partly sunny skies in the morning. Winds will be brisk, averaging 15 mph with gusts hitting 25 mph at times. Snow is unlikely to occur outside of a few spotty flurries in the morning, before picking up later on Friday night.
Tonight: Winds slow down considerably as night falls, with gusts reaching 5 mph and an average wind speed around 3 mph. Snow will move into the area after midnight, hitting its peak around 3 A.M., coupled with temperatures in the low 20s that are slightly warmer along the lakeshore. Skies remain cloudy with only a small bit of moonlight peaking through early in the night, around 8 P.M.

Tomorrow: Snow abounds on Saturday, caused by a low pressure system moving into the area and dumping lake effect snow all along the eastern side of Lake Michigan. Snow depth will end up between 8 to 10 inches, especially along the lake shore where the snow will be thick, heavy, and wet. Temperatures will hover right around 32 degrees during the day and into the night, coupled with overcast skies and winds out of the east at 10 mph with 15 mph gusts.
Sunday, November 30th – Tuesday, December 2nd: Snow continues into the early morning on Sunday, before tapering off in the afternoon, accumulating to just over an inch. Temperatures drop into the low 20s, along with overcast skies and winds blowing at 15 mph. Monday’s temperatures continue to float around 20 degrees, mixed with cloudy skies and winds dragging at 5 mph. Partly sunny skies mark Tuesday, bringing an end to the cloudy skies of the weekend and Monday. Temperatures hit a daily high in the low 20s before dropping into the single digits overnight.
