Friday, September 12

The morning may start with some patchy fog and low clouds, especially closer to the lake, but most of that should clear out by late morning. Skies will mix out to partly sunny with highs climbing into the low to mid 80s inland, while lakeshore areas hold in the 70s thanks to a breeze off Lake Michigan. Winds will be light out of the southeast at 5-10 mph. It’ll feel warmer and a bit more humid than earlier this week.

Friday Night

Clouds increase as a warm front and an upper disturbance slide closer. Scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder are possible after midnight, mainly north and west of Milwaukee. Chances sit around 20-35%, so not everyone will see rain, but if storms do move in, they could bring brief showers. Lows will stay mild, in the mid to upper 60s, with light southeast winds.

Saturday, September 13

Any lingering morning showers should shift out quickly, leaving behind a warm, humid day. Highs will rise into the mid-80s inland with dew points near 70, while lakeshore spots run cooler in the mid 70s. Skies will be partly cloudy with light southwest winds at 5-15 mph. It won’t be oppressive heat, but you’ll notice the sticky air compared to the cooler stretch we’ve had.

Saturday Night

Skies stay partly cloudy and mild with lows only falling into the mid to upper 60s. A light south wind will keep moisture in place, making it feel muggy overnight.

Sunday, September 14

High pressure dominates, bringing plenty of sunshine and summerlike warmth. Highs will reach the low to mid 80s again inland, with upper 70s near the lake. Humidity will still be noticeable, but it’s not expected to be extreme. Winds turn south-southwest at 5-10 mph, keeping things warm well into the afternoon.

Monday, September 15

Another warm day is in store, with highs once again pushing into the low 80s. The air stays on the humid side, though no organized storms are expected. A mix of sun and clouds with southerly winds 10-15 mph should make for a pretty pleasant, late summer feel.

Tuesday, September 16

The warm stretch continues with highs again in the 80s. Clouds may increase a bit as the ridge pattern begins to weaken, and there’s a very slight chance for a shower, but overall it looks mainly dry. Winds stay southerly at 10-15 mph.
