Today: A warm front begins moving through Wisconsin, bringing stronger winds off the lake with gusts up to 45 mph. Widespread rain and the occasional thunderstorm can be expected over Milwaukee and the surrounding area. Temperatures will begin cold around the mid 30s and rise up to the high 50s as the front moves through, before cooling off again as night falls.

Tonight: There is a large chance for thunderstorms to move through the Milwaukee area starting around 7 p.m. and continuing throughout the night. The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center suggests a 40% chance for severe weather, but still take caution while traveling and pay attention to local stations for further updates throughout the night in case of high winds and damaging hail. Lows will fall into the mid 30s overnight.

Thursday, April 3rd: Thursday begins with temperatures in the mid 40s but decreasing due to a cold front moving through southern Wisconsin. Clouds will obscure the sky for a majority of the day, causing a lack of solar heating and inducing a daytime low in the upper 30s. Winds should remain fairly calm at around 5 mph.

Friday, April 4th – Sunday, April 6: Friday starts out rather stagnant with temperatures in the lower 40s and overcast with a chance for rain in the evening that flows into Saturday. The weekend starts with highs in the upper 40s dampened by scattered showers throughout the day. Sunday continues with cloudy weather and a light chance of rain in the morning hours that turns to scattered sunshine with a high in the upper 40s
