Hundreds of cars and thousands of attendees graced the floors of the 2019 Greater Milwaukee Car and Truck Show this past weekend at the Wisconsin Center.

Attendees of the auto show admire vehicles in the “luxury zone” in the Wisconsin Center.

More than 30 manufacturers from around the world displayed their latest and greatest offerings to the automotive world, including several pre-production models like the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, 2020 Lincoln Aviator and the 2019 Audi e-tron, Audi’s first all-electric vehicle. From the first floor which included brands like Mercedes, Cadillac and Lexus, to the top floor with brands like Toyota, Ford and Kia, there was surely interest to everyone who attended.

Free test drives were available courtesy of Volkswagen, Chrysler, Fiat and Dodge, allowing adults over the age of 21 to get behind the wheel of some of their favorite new cars. Vehicles like the 2019 Volkswagen GTI Autobahn, 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 392 Widebody, 2019 Fiat 124 Spider Lusso and 2019 Jeep Renegade were the most popular.

The 220 horsepower of the GTI put a smile on the face of test drivers as they gave it a spin around the block.

Attendees wait in line to try Ford’s simulator.

Besides new cars and trucks, there was no shortage of vintage steel at the event. Attractions like the “barn find” section included cars from all eras with varying storied pasts presented by Bennett Coachworks.

The lowrider section, a new addition to the show, was full of heavily modified American cars and motorcycles featuring the brightest chrome, loudest stereos, craziest suspension and most eye-popping paint jobs. No piece was left stock on these vehicles.

Wisconsin Clean Cities brought a wide-variety of all-electric and hybrid-electric vehicles like the Tesla Model S, Nissan Leaf and Toyota Prius.
